Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in marine engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related engineering field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience applying, maintaining and repairing marine power generation, protection relays, circuit breakers, and switchgears with a focus on power generation and distribution. In lieu of a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience as stated. Also requires 3 years of experience installing marine automation or marine power distribution systems for marine and offshore applications and operations; and applying IEC protocols in compliance with safety requirements. Requires 2 years of experience designing electrical and mechanical components utilizing computer aided design software CAD. Up to 75 travel domestic and international and includes weekends and holidays required. Employee reports to 11600 Miramar Parkway, Suite 100, Miramar, FL 33025, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
