Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept three years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelors degree and one year of experience. One year of experience must include 1 working with at least one of the following virtualization hypervisors a XEN, b VMWARE, c KVM andor d HYPERV; 2 working with LinuxUnix operating systems; 3 utilizing at least two of the following Linux system performance troubleshooting toolscommands a SYSSTAT, b TOP, c PERF, d IOSTAT andor e VMSTAT; 4 working with each of the following connection protocols a httphttps and b SSH; 5 working with at least one of the following web server technologies a apache andor b NGINX; 6 working with at least two of the following storage concepts a LVM, b raid, c NFS, d ext4 andor e XFS; 7 utilizing at least two of the following network troubleshooting tools a telnet, b netstatss, c traceroute, d TCPTRACEROUTE e iPERF, f dig, andor g TCPDUMP; 8 working with bashshell scripts andor python scripts; 9 managing full application stacks from the operating system through custom applications; fluency in both written and spoken Japanese language required.
