Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a directly related field plus three 3 years of electrical engineering or related experience. Professional Engineer Certificate required. Must have minimum of two 2 years of experience in each of the following Oil, Gas, and Chemical industry. API, NFPA 70, 70E, NEMA, and PIP industry standards. Class 1, Division 2, Groups B, C, and D hazardous area analysis. Review of Scope of Work and Project Specification. Preparation of electrical system oneline, load flow analysis, shortcircuit analysis, relay coordination, AC DC arc flash studies, Static and Dynamic motor starting studies, harmonics analysis, ground fault analysis, and cable thermal analysis. SKM or ETAP electrical system modelling software packages. Programming and developing setting for microprocessorbased relays including SEL, Siemens, GE, and ABB relays. Developing AC and DC Schematics, Relay Logic Diagrams and Network Diagrams including customized Auto Transfer Scheme using IEC61850 GOOSE communication. Developing communication infrastructure between facility and SCADADCS using RTACRTU. Creating and modifying onelines, threelines, control schematics, wiring, panel arrangements, trench and tray design, cable schedule and routing for industrial facilities. Designing Plot Plans, Area Classification Drawings, and Cable Tray Drawings. Creating and modifying technical specifications for major equipment, such power transformers, circuit breakers, control house, panels, and electrical bill of material. Performing basic calculations such as voltage drop, grounding and lightning, CT burden and saturation, duct bank calculations, and lighting. Performing FAT and SAT acceptance tests of buildings, switchgear, and power transformers. The employer will also accept a Masters degree plus two 2 years of electrical engineering or related experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related experience plus three 3 years of electrical engineering or related experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel up to 10 of the time.
