Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience involving the following SolidWorks, ProE, NX 3D CAD or Teamcenter; design for manufacturabilityassemblytest DFx analysis and design for cost DFC analysis for factory test platforms; JMP, Python, Matlab, data collection, and statistical data analysis Six Sigma; Test fixture design, tolerance analysis, system bringup, hardware debugging, factory testing, design of experiment DOE, design validation and failure analysis investigation; interfacing with vendors, qualifying strategic partners, and developing effective technical relationships with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and technical engineering teams; and Machine shop and 3D printing.br br Position reports to the Google Mountain View, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
