Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus 5 years of experience. Alternatively, Employer will also accept a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus 3 years of experience. Also requires 5 years of experience or 3 years with a Masters in the following Power electronics products for EV powertrain ACDC converters, Battery Chargers, Inverters, EMI filters, and high voltage power distribution; Power electronics hardware development design, debugging and validation of power semiconductor circuit design for ACtoDC, DCtoDC or DCtoAC converters; Design, debugging and validation of power transistor gate drive circuits; Power semiconductor switching waveforms, loss modeling and thermal management; power levels from 500W to 50kW; EMIEMC design best practice; Wide band gap semiconductors including GaN and SiC; Power electronics laboratory experience; Data acquisition tools including at least two of the following LabView Verist and, CANalyzer, Neo VI, or similar; Development requirements for OEM production programs DVPR; Design for Manufacturing, Design for Reliability, DFMEA and fault trees.
