Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field plus three 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Consultant, Senior Associate, Actuarial Analyst, Actuarial Intern or a related position. Must have three 3 years of progressively responsible experience with Consulting environment; Project management; Analyzing large sums of data utilizing Microsoft Excel functions including lookups and pivot tables; Analytics;br Defined benefit pension valuation software, including ability to review coding of pension assumptions and plan provisions; IRS funding regulations and ASC 715 accounting requirements for singleemployer defined benefit pension plans; Managing valuation process for singleemployer defined benefit pension plans from start to finish, including census reconciliation, gainloss review, liability development, IRS funding and ASC 715 accounting actuarial reports, government filings, and development of responses to plan and corporate auditor inquiries; Final technical review for pension valuation gainloss analysis with minimal supervision;br Final technical review for qualified and nonqualified pension plan benefit calculations; Leading development of pension analysis for special projects, including derisking opportunities, union negotiation support, plan design, contribution strategy, and accounting for special events including curtailments and settlements; Serving as a point of contact for clients and resolving day to day pensionrelated inquiries regarding financial management and administration of client pension plans; and Experience training and mentoring actuarial analysts on pensionrelated topics including IRS funding, ASC 715 accounting, government filings, and nonstandard benefit calculations.
