Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field plus 4 years of experience in a mechanical, product design, or industrial design environment. Alternatively, employer will accept a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related plus 2 years of experience in a mechanical, product design or industrial design environment. Also requires 3 years of experience or 1 with Masters with the following manufacturing processes including all of Injection Molding, Thermoforming, DFM, DFMEA, PFMEA, Tolerance Analysis, PPAP; developing real world products; CAD design SolidWorks or Catia; and product testing, validation, and reporting. Occasional telecommuting is permitted is as determined by the employer. International travel required estimated at 3 times per year.
