Run design charettes results documentation develop goal setting for energy useemissions methods to achieve through building performance analyses.br br 5Conduct energy modeling projects, incl client LEED PM communications, expectation setting, problem escalation to BPAIII, PrincipalLEED Senior PMs, resolution incl drafting project proposals fees for reviewapproval, implementingoverseeing project budgets;br Perform allocate task win workload to meet deadlines stay win project budget; make fee revisions manage work win revised fee. Escalate issues to Sr staff aid in problem resolution;br Provide support, training, education to junior staff external project members. Assist external team wdocumentation process review submissions for certification LEED WELL etc..br br SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTSbr br Position requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Sustainable Design, Built Environment or closely related field plus 2 years experience in analysis, evaluation and design of building structures and performance metrics.br br Position also requires 2 yrs experience in the following skills, which may be gained concurrentlybr Utilizing specialized energy software incl. EnergyPlus, eQuest, Design Builder, and Dept. of Energy Simulation Engines, DOE 2.2 and 2.3, Revit, AutoCAD or ArchiCAD;br Applying specialized daylight and energy analyses;br Applying U.S. and global energy standards such as International Energy Conservation Code IECC, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and AirConditioning Engineers ASHRAE and LEED categories, and concepts of building elements, attributes, assets, occupancy behaviors and combined impact on energy use;br Applying green building practices, net zero housing, and energy efficiency methodologies such as PassivHaus, energy systems, and energy generation to reduce ecological impact of proposed structures;br Applying environmental engineering concepts incl. building sciences, energy consumption, structural engineering, and ecological impact of landbuilding use in different environmental contexts and understanding of exterior building facades;br Providing technical assistance to utilities as part of energy efficiency programs including associated rebates and incentives;br Certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED AP BDC.
