Must have experience with designing and building scalable REST API Web Services using Java; writing database queries and connecting with backend database systems using Hibernate and MVC; building, deploying, and managing microservices using cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker frameworks; writing Unix commands for application instances deployed on Cloud; contributing to department metrics like working on Sprint backlogs, conducting performance testing to meet SLAs and utilizing JIRA for tracking work and issue management; working with tools like Eclipse and IntelliJ for running and debugging code; unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and TestNG, and conducting unit test functionality of different methods and classes; application logging, reporting, and monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana; designing, developing, and prototyping using technologydriven product solutions in Java frameworks; designing and building highly scalable and multitenant solutions by conducting capacity planning, system performance tuning and analysis using tools like Automation; writing optimized SQL and NoSQL queries for integration with other applications and creating database triggers for use in Automation; async message processing systems like Kafka and JMS technologies to process messages and to integrate across systems; and designing discussions and consulting with product teams for application support requirements for onboarding new products.
