Position requires a master of science degree, or foreign equivalent, in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field with 4 years experience developing bioinformatic computational tools for the development of novel therapeutics.br br Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrentlybr 4 years experience employing coding languages such as R, Python, Knime, Java, Javascript, SQL;br 4 years experience conducting machine learning employing knowledge of statistical foundations and machinedeep learning libraries including mlr, dmlcXGBoost, Keras, etc;br 4 years experience utilizing modern data visualization tools ggplot2, D3, Plotly, etc;br 4 years experience applying principals of the development of genetic medicines, particularly antisense oligonucleotides, doublestranded RNA interference and transcript editing ADAR;br 4 years experience applying knowledge of human genetics on target discovery and validation as well as knowledge of biological genomic and SNP databases, formats and methods for programmatic access to such e.g., Bioconductor packages;br 4 years experience in applying statistical background classical Bayesian techniques, including linear modeling, generalized linear models and multivariate techniques;br 4 years experience in conducting Understands NGS data processing and statistical algorithms for inference RNAseq, WGS, etc;br 4 years experience in utilizing KNIME platform for workflow development deployment in production environments, KNIME Server use and administration, KNIME WebPortal use administration, and AWS deployment of cloud servers;br 4 years experience in utilizing database principles such as Oracle graphical, data warehousing and data lakes;br 4 years experience in utilizing chemical representation formats such as sdf, Mol, Inchi, Rxn, etc, cheminformatic packages such as RDkit, CDK and KNIME integration, as well as HELM descriptive language in oligonucleotide representation;br 4 years experience in utilizing Atlassian ecosystem including Jira, Confluence, bitbucket Git;br 4 years experience with the Dotmatics software platform and API;br 4 years experience performing analysis of in vivo mouse behavioral data for understand the toxicological mechanisms of oligonucleotide exposure in the central nervous system.
